Jesus is the central figure of the Christian faith, but He is far more than just a good teacher, a moral example, or a historical religious leader. According to the Bible, Jesus is God’s Son—God Himself in human form—who entered the world to rescue us.

More than two thousand years ago, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, lived in ancient Israel, and spent his last several years teaching, healing, and showing people what God is truly like. His life and message were marked by compassion for the hurting, forgiveness for the broken, accountability for the wayward, and truth for all who would listen. He welcomed outcasts, confronted hypocrisy, and offered grace to anyone willing to follow Him.

But Jesus didn’t come only to teach us how to live better lives—He came to give us a completely new life. Humanity’s greatest problem isn’t a lack of education or effort; it’s that we are separated from God by sin—our tendency to live life our own way instead of His. Jesus came to bridge that divide. He did what we could never do for ourselves: He lived a perfect, sinless life, then willingly gave His life on the cross as a sacrificial substitute for our sins.

Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving His power over sin, death, and the grave. His resurrection isn’t just a story—it’s the foundation of the Christian faith and the greatest evidence of God’s love for us. Because Jesus is alive, He offers forgiveness, peace, and a new beginning to anyone who trusts in Him.

Jesus is not just a figure from history; He is alive and active today. He meets people in every culture, background, and circumstance with the same invitation He gave to His first followers: “Come, follow Me.” To know Jesus is to know God personally—to discover hope when life feels empty, light when things seem dark, and purpose that goes beyond this life.

So, who is Jesus?
He is God’s Son, our Savior, and the hope of the world. He came not to condemn, but to save—to bring us home to the God who made us and loves us. And through faith in Him, we find forgiveness, transformation, and eternal life.
