Sunday School is at 10:00AM and Worship service is at 11:00AM each Sunday. At FRBC we believe people’s greatest need is a right relationship with Jesus Christ. The Bible and meaningful connection with a community of believers are the best ways to grow an develop that relationship. Don’t have a Bible? We’ll give you one! Come ready to let God meet you where you are and lead you to where He wants you to be!
What should I wear? Clothes. That’s it. God wants your heart, so wardrobe should never be a barrier to bringing a heart of praise to our Lord. Come as you are - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
What time should I get there? That depends! If you’re joining us for Sunday School (small group facilitated Bible study). we’d recommend getting here around 9:50 so we can help connect you with the small group that will best fit your season of life. If you have kiddos with you, it’ll take a few minutes to get them to where they’re going too.
I have kids. Do they come to service with me? Where else would they go? Children are blessings from God and we’re so glad you’re bringing them! We have environments for them to engage, learn, and worship at their age level, if they (and you) want to give our fantastic Children’s ministry team a shot. Sunday School has a place for kids from birth through High School. Children’s Church and the Nursery also run during the worship service for kiddos 5th grade and under. Not comfortable with those options yet? That’s ok! Your kids are welcome to stay with you in service.
Do I need to have a Bible? We would always encourage bringing a Bible with you! If you don’t have one, we’ll give you one! Having and regularly engaging with God’s Word is crucial to being a disciple of Jesus. Sunday School content and sermons are preached using the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translation, though having that translation is not necessary. Sermon Scripture is displayed on a screen behind the pastor, but we would still recommend having a Bible in your hands and open. There are Bibles in every pew, just in case you forgot yours this week.
How do I know where to go once I get there? For Sunday School, the best place to start is the door under the overhang on the left side of the church. We’ll see you and help, to be sure! For worship service, head to the doors at the front of the church and one of our greeters will be happy to help you find your way and answer any questions.
What is the worship service like? We have what’s called a “blended” service. So there are traditional hymns and modern worship songs, often in the same service. Sermon messages are straight from Scripture and we take care to stick to what God tells us from His Word. The world needs His truth, not our opinions. Here, you’ll find the truth of Scripture made relevant and challenging for our lives as disciples of Jesus in the 21st century.
